Training course - Introduction to Agile Software Development - July 18th

I am pleased to announce that, in conjunction with the Glasgow British Computer Society and VISION Consulting I will be presenting a low-cost full day training course at Paisley University on July 18th.

This course is suitable for anyone in the IT industry - managers, programmers, designers, architects, testers, analysts, customers and students.  You need bring nothing with you but a strong desire to make our industry better and an open mind. 

During this interactive session, I will cover:

  • Why the underlying theories of traditional software development and project management are flawed.
  • Why and how Agile methods work.
  • An overview of the various Agile methods - including Scrum, Extreme Programming, & DSDM.
  • A live demonstration of Test Driven Development & Pair programming.
  • Plenty of time to answer your questions.
